We can provide on-site tests and examinations. This includes testing water levels for pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, oxygen and take Mucus Scrapes to perform microscopic examination and identify any parasites present.
Macro parasites - Gyrodactylus (Skin fluke), Dactylogyrus (Gill fluke), Argulus (Fish Louse) and Lernaea (Anchor worm)
Protozoan parasites – Chilodonella, Costia, Trichodina and White Spot
Then we can advise on the best action to take.
For Bio-security reasons, nets and bowls must be provided by you. This ensures no parasites or bacteria are transferred from pond to pond.
